Abbie, our 2 year old Welsh Corgi is a Therapy Dog for St. Clare's Hospital.
She completed her training at Pawsitive and was certified by Bright & Beautiful in March 2011.
She has been visiting St. Clare's hospital and other facilities on a regular basis over the past year and has truly been a blessing to both patients and staff. Abbie, and the other Therapy Dogs were recently recognized by St. Clare's Hospital for their work there.

"The thousand mile journey..."
The thousand mile journy begins with one step. That's what I thought driving home from the final session of Basic Obedience I class tonight. Alfie and I definitely have a long way to go, no denying that. There is a huge difference from six weeks ago, at least for me. I am very encouraged. Now I have some tools that actually get results. Also, I have more confidence in what I am doing. It seems Alfie has but up some self-confidence (and skills) as well. Oh happy day, well night actually.I have to admit I am a bit disappointed that there is no Basic Obedience II class scheduled until October, really? If we are not on the waiting list for the next available Basic II class, please add us, Thursday nights are perfect. We can try to be flexible if need be. Alfie and I will continue to practice what we have learned until the next class begins. Also, Alf has an appointment to spend some time with Becky on Saturday. That should be interesting.
Thank you to everyone at Paws-itive Experience for what you do and sharing it to make a paws-itive difference in the lives of countless dogs and the families they are part of.
See you Saturday!
Chris WoodPS I noticed how in class tonight how much quieter it was than night one.
